Maharishi University of Management in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa and Fairfield, Iowa specializes in Consciousness-Basedsm education. The purpose of this style of education is to develop the full potential of every student's brain, thereby maximizing success in every area of life.
The basis of Consciousness-Based education is the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programs, including Yogic Flying. More than 600 scientific research studies have been conducted in over 200 universities and research institutions in more than 30 countries in the world on the effects of these programs. The results of the studies included the rapid growth of intelligence and creativity, improved academic performance, and improved health and well-being as well as helping to create peace and harmony in the environment.
The Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programs, including Yogic Flying, are practiced morning and evening in the two Golden Domes on the campus of Maharishi University of Management. Students, staff, and members of the community all participate to create peace and harmony within the physiology and in the surrounding environment.
You do not have to already be practicing Transcendental Meditation or the TM-Sidhi program (including Yogic Flying) to enroll at the University. You can learn after you become a student.
The University desires to help create peace in the world. To accomplish this, they hope to increase enrollment to 8,000 students as soon as possible.
